Simone's Birthday Trip at Legoland

At last, I had the time to blog! Well, not really, Simone just slept early!

Anyway, over the holidays, we squeezed in an overnight trip to Johor Bahru for Simone's birthday! It was a cold, breezy day for us, the sun and the super dark gray clouds were fighting over the skies. One minute it was very sunny, and the next minute you get a worried because it might rain any time. It only drizzled in the afternoon when we were about to leave. Thank God!

The guy at Legoland recommended that we go to the waterpark first, because they might close early due to the weather. Honestly, it was just okay, and I think it is just like Sentosa, Port of Lost Wonder and Adventure Cove combined! Simone enjoyed the toddler area with the legos!

"Simming, simming!" (swimming)

OMG. I think I was the only one wearing a two-piece! Dyahe LOL

Do you see the Malay women behind me? I quickly wore my cover up after.

Who's enjoying now?

Simone: "I just can't...."

The water park! big kids will surely enjoy the slides!

Father and daughter moment

"Should I swim at the wave pool or go to the theme park?"

At the wave pool. Sentosa's Adventure cove is nicer:)

Testing the waters. Her dad photo bombing- He couldn't stand because he stained his shorts with red ketchup/chili haha!

We went to the theme park after. Seriously, I wasn't expecting so much about the theme park, but omg I enjoyed so much! We didn't realize that the place is HUGE!

So many Lego statues!

Hey, are you forrealz?

I told her they're her friends, so she stood there and I was able to snap some pictures!

My lovely prisoners lol.

At the Star Wars theater. We didn't go in.

This is the mini-land wherein they created the different cities of some countries like Singapore, India, Vietnam, Philippines, China and many more! So cool! Uhm did I mention by using Lego? I took pictures of all but only uploaded 2:) You'll appreciate it more if you see it personally.

Hi Santa!

The adult rides are cool too, we played the fire fighting game haha it was so fun! But unfortunately, all the rest, we were not able to try them as we have our birthday girl along. I don't mind at all. :) There will be next time! We will be back for sure!!!

Pretend Play: Potty Training Kitty

Random sunday again and we just got home. I saw Simone holding her precious Hello Kitty, telling me to "pao pao" means to carry in mandarin, so I held kitty and pretend play. She took it back and said, "sleeping, sleeping." So i said, "Okay, you put her down because she is sleeping." And she did.

I was still watching what would she do next, and she kind of checked kitty's 'diaper' and said, "chou chou!" Means stinky in mandarin. She took kitty and placed her in her potty and pretended to be upset, 'scolded' Hello Kitty. if i'm not wrong, she said "Angry" in a roaring lion sound! She left kitty there and forgot all about her already so i had a chance to take a photo. Haha I was so amused. Wait. What?? Uhm did she just copy her own mother? Wahahahahah!!!! But I don't say 'angry' to her. Hmm who could it be?

"Hello Kitty, are you done?"

She Remembers!

Date post: 12 December 2014

We had to run some errands on a Sunday, and we passed by the playground. She attempted to go there. "Simone, we can play later when we get home? okay? We just need to buy something, then when we go home later, promise we will play okay?" I said repeatedly until she went down from the playground. Great, no arguing or tantrum happend! After about 2 hours going back home, we got off the bus and guess what's the first thing she said?  "Playground, playground? Swing, swing?" Pointing at the playground! Ohhhh geez she remembered! Haha I laughed and said, "Yes okay let's go!"

1, 2, 3, 4... Hi-5!

Oh my gosh been waiting for this day! I promised Simone that I will take her to a Hi-5 show this year, and I promise again, next year!!! Spell F-U-N! She seriously knows every song AND the dance LOL.

"Ah-fai, ah-fai, ah-fai (Hi-5)?" She kept saying as she saw a signboard of HI-5.  By the way, it was held at the Star Theater at Buona Vista. My first time there, the place is so nice! After redeeming the ticket, we had lunch first at Porn's Sexy Thai Food (--Seriously, that's the name and their thai red curry is THEE best. plus the pad thai) and hubs saw some little girls wearing fairy wings with Hi-5 logo. "Wonder where they got the wings." He said. Haha. Figured. So when we went to the theater, outside they were selling merchandise. I bought the fairy wings right away.

The kids can dance in front just like how you see them in videos, and the parents stand on the side to watch over their kids. Me and Simone just watched on our seats (next year baby!). She seriously watched while singing and dancing. I saw at least 3 pregnant women near our seat.  Taking pictures and videos are not allowed, but people still took. I joined in:) As long as it's discreet and there's no flash, I think it's okay. They weren't strict either.

We're very near!

Hi!

When you wish upon a..

...star

So many animals, set them free!

Simone's fairy wings

Bought her a balloon afterwards but the balloon quickly got detached from the string so it flew away and Simone was like, "What happend?" with 2 hands on her cheeks and sad face. I explained to her and was still sad. She LOVES balloons to death! Awww. We went back to buy a pillow instead because I want the pillow haha. I saw the manager and told her what happend, and she quickly gave Simone a new one yay!

We went around the mall afterwards. The Christmas decorations were so nice!

"Where's my king?"

There's a choo-choo train here but it was still closed.

My dugyot fairy

Aftermath!!!!! I love the pillow! and my Hello Panda pillow:)
Til next year!:)
